In Correze
The Highone, around the plate of Millevaches and of the solid mass of Monédières, is less known for particular villages than for its residual peat bogs and its moors; while the Tulle country offers a landscape of boxed enough valleys, whose many rivers constitute a field of fishing very appreciated.
Several villages of Corrèze are particularly remarkable: Collonges-the-red, Curemonte, known for their red stones, Turenne, Argentat. Uzerche, on Vézère, is also famous. Six villages corréziens are classified among the most beautiful villages of France: Collonges-the-Red, Curemonte, Saint-Robert, Ségur-the-Castle, Treignac, Turenne.
A small part of the south of the department is occupied by the northern end of Causses of Quercy (Causse corrèzien). Are there one of the rare pits of the Limousin - the pit of Fage - and lake of Causse celebrates it.
